Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Swan Chauffeur’s transportation services. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Swan Chauffeur operates across Perth, Western Australia and surrounding regions.

2. Bookings & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from Swan Chauffeur via email. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

• You must provide accurate pickup details, passenger count, and contact information
• Changes to confirmed bookings must be requested at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST. Fares are calculated on a per-kilometre basis with no base fare. The fare displayed at time of booking is an estimate based on the route provided.

• Final fare may vary if the route or distance changes at the passenger’s request during the journey
• Payment is collected at time of booking via secure card processing through Stripe
• Receipts and tax invoices are issued by email upon payment

4. Waiting Time

Swan Chauffeur provides a complimentary grace period for all pickups:

• Standard pickups: 15 minutes free waiting time from the scheduled pickup time
• Domestic airport arrivals: 30 minutes free waiting time from the confirmed landing time
• International airport arrivals: 45 minutes free waiting time from the confirmed landing time

After the complimentary grace period, waiting time is charged at .50 per minute. A supplementary invoice will be issued and charged to the card on file.

5. Extra Stops

Additional stops requested at time of booking or during a journey are charged at 5.00 per stop. This charge covers the additional time and distance involved. Extra stops can be added to any booking type including airport transfers and point-to-point journeys.

6. Surcharges

The following surcharges apply in addition to the base fare:

• Late Night Surcharge: 15% applies to all journeys commencing between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Public Holiday Surcharge: 15% applies on all Western Australian public holidays
• Surcharges are disclosed at time of booking and reflected in your confirmation

7. Cancellation Policy

Swan Chauffeur’s cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund, no charge
• 12–24 hours before pickup: 50% of the booking fare is charged
• Less than 12 hours before pickup: 100% of the booking fare is charged
• No-show: 100% of the booking fare is charged (see Clause 8)

Cancellations must be made by contacting us directly via phone or email. Online cancellations are not accepted.

8. No-Show Policy

A no-show occurs when a passenger is not present at the agreed pickup location within the complimentary grace period and cannot be reached by the driver. In this event:

• The full fare will be charged to the card on file
• The booking will be marked as a no-show and a notification sent to the email address provided
• Swan Chauffeur accepts no liability for missed pickups resulting from incorrect information provided at time of booking

9. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards the driver and the vehicle. Swan Chauffeur reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund in the event of:

• Abusive, threatening, or disorderly behaviour
• Damage to the vehicle — a cleaning or repair fee will be charged
• Consumption of food or alcohol without prior consent
• Smoking inside the vehicle (strict no-smoking policy applies)

10. Flight Monitoring

For airport transfer bookings, Swan Chauffeur monitors flight arrival times and adjusts the driver’s schedule accordingly. This service is provided as a courtesy. Swan Chauffeur accepts no liability for delays, cancellations, or changes beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

Swan Chauffeur carries comprehensive public liability insurance. However, we are not liable for:

• Loss or damage to passenger belongings left in the vehicle
• Delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control
• Consequential losses including missed flights, meetings, or events

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.

13. Amendments

Swan Chauffeur reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at swanchauffeur.com.au/terms-conditions/. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
