Perth Airport has four passenger terminals spread across two precincts about 12 kilometres east of the CBD. T1 handles both the international terminal and Qantas domestic flights. T2 serves Virgin Australia domestic routes. T3 covers Jetstar and Regional Express. T4 is used by Bonza, Airnorth, and charter operators. Each terminal has its own arrivals exit and dedicated chauffeur pickup point, so knowing your terminal before you land is the first step to a smooth arrival.
The experience at T1 International is different from domestic. Once you pass through customs and walk into the public arrivals hall, your driver is standing there with a name board. No picking up a phone, no hunting for a bus rank. For domestic arrivals at T1 or T2, your driver waits just outside the baggage carousel exit in the designated chauffeur area, a short walk from where you collect your bags. T3 and T4 pickups are at the front of the respective terminal buildings.
Perth Airport is approximately 12 kilometres from the CBD, around 20 minutes in light traffic and up to 35 minutes during the morning peak. T1 is the largest and handles both the international terminal and Qantas domestic flights. It has two separate arrivals areas inside: one for international passengers coming through customs and one for Qantas domestic. T2 is a separate building for Virgin Australia domestic flights. T3 handles Jetstar and Regional Express. T4 is a smaller terminal for Bonza, Airnorth, and charter operators. When you book, provide your airline and flight number and your driver will be positioned at the right terminal. If you are unsure which terminal you need, we confirm it for you.
After you clear passport control, collect your luggage, and pass through the customs exit, you walk directly into the public arrivals hall. Your driver is standing there with a name board showing your name. You do not need to go to a pickup bay, find a rank, or call anyone. The arrivals hall at T1 International is fairly compact and the name board is visible from the customs exit doors.
For Qantas flights at T1 Domestic and Virgin Australia flights at T2, your driver waits in the designated chauffeur area just outside the baggage carousel exit. It is a short walk from where you collect your bags. You will receive a message from your driver once they are in position. The chauffeur pickup area is separate from the taxi and rideshare zone, so there is no crowded rank to work through. Your driver takes your luggage and walks you to the vehicle.
Terminal changes do happen, particularly with some Qantas routes that occasionally swap between terminals. Because we track your flight number through Perth Airport live feeds, we see the terminal assignment as it updates. Your driver adjusts position without you needing to call or message. Just walk out of the arrivals exit for your actual terminal and your driver will be there.
Yes. Perth Airport has designated chauffeur and hire car staging areas at each terminal precinct, separate from taxis and rideshare pickup zones. This means your driver is positioned properly near the terminal rather than circling. At T1 International, the arrangement allows drivers to wait inside the terminal itself, which is why the arrival experience there is different from a rideshare pickup at the kerb.
Your driver waits from when the flight lands. The 30 minute grace period covers normal customs clearance and baggage collection for most international flights. If the queue runs longer, your driver stays put. If you are stuck in immigration and want to give a heads-up, send a message through the contact number on your confirmation. Waiting fees of $15 per 15 minutes apply after the grace period, but the pickup is never abandoned.
