Larger estates like Sandalford and Houghton often offer complimentary tastings as part of their visitor experience. We keep up to date on current tasting fee structures at the wineries we visit regularly and will let you know what to expect at each stop before your tour day.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and snacks into the vehicle. We also offer a charcuterie and cheese add-on that can be pre-arranged and ready in the vehicle for the journey. Many of the Swan Valley estates have excellent on-site restaurants, and some require advance bookings, particularly on weekends. If you would like us to handle a lunch reservation as part of your tour planning, just let us know when you book.
Most clients prefer a 9:00 to 9:30am departure from the Perth CBD or their hotel, as this gives you the most time at the cellar doors before they start winding down in the afternoon. We can accommodate later departures, though we recommend confirming winery opening hours in advance if you are planning a midday or early afternoon start, as some smaller producers have restricted hours on certain days.
